

Each of these has a cool-down applied to them so you can not spam the attacks. Within each section of the world, you will come across enemies that you can fight in real-time either using your sword or various attack and magical abilities. Some of these tasks require you to travel to various parts of the map, which do have a fast travel system, but early on in the game, you will have to walk to each destination. There are quests and side quests given to you to progress the story and build friendships with neighbors. You start off the game with very little in terms of direction and information, but after a short introduction to the world and a few characters, you begin your quest to save Paw Village.Īrmed with a sword you will fight off hordes of bouncing slimes, dangerous sword and shield-wielding enemies, spiders, and more. You are entrusted with a farm and a town to save therefore, checking a lot of boxes in my favorite gameplay list. Kitaria Fables has hit the Nintendo Switch as a role-playing, action-adventure game.
